Ec@ps delivers a one page strategic plan through a practical and interactive session together with individual performance plans. The web based execution system ensure the process is monitored and results are achieved. Any existing strategic plan or balanced scorecard can be incorporated into the Ec@ps model.

Senior Management: Strategic Planning Workshop

A focused performance management programme that is driven by the strategic plan of the organisation. It is a participative process that assigns responsibilities to all managers to bring about change and to achieve goals.
The process begins with a 2-day Strategic Session when Senior Management assesses the organization’s Vision and Values and the Critical Success Factors, Key Performance Indicators and Strategic Goals to formulate a Winning Culture to establish within the organization. Goals are divided among management, and each manager prepares his first six months performance plan.

Middle and / or Junior Management Middle Management: Performance Management Workshop

The goals that are developed during the Senior C@PS are cascaded down to lower levels in the form of specific tacks with assigned responsibilities. The same exercise can also be done with the Middle and / or Junior Management to get their input on the above goals and to set new goals themselves which would then be distributed amongst Middle and / or Junior Management, to enable them to compile their first six months performance plan.

On-Line Performance Management Implementation

Goals that have been developed during the Senior and Junior C@PS are changed into 6 monthly individual action plans that are monitored on the three weekly basis. On-line Performance Management implementation follows directly after the Winning Culture Workshops above. The electronic program used is known as Electronic Compass Aligned Performance System or in short eCaps. It stands for “A simple one page strategic plan executed through an on-line performance management system”. This program is optional and can be replaced with a manual system and can be distributed and explained during the Winning Culture Workshops. It is implemented as a Performance Management Program over a period of three years, but is divided into six sessions of six months each.
